Endo-met Laboratories
SBF Formula 90 Tabs by Endo-met Labs
SBF Formula by Endo-met Labs is a carefully balanced blend of minerals, vitamins, and glandular concentrates formulated to support individuals with specific mineral imbalances. Matched to charts showing a low sodium/potassium (Na/K) ratio - most often a fast oxidizer whose ratio has inverted, and also the four-lows pattern where calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium are all below ideal, SBF Formula promotes metabolic stability and enhances immune and glandular health.
SBF Formula is meticulously crafted with essential nutrients that work synergistically to support optimal health:
Available in two sizes—90 or 180 tablets—the SBF Formula provides a flexible solution tailored to meet various health and lifestyle needs.
Formulated by Endo-met Labs, SBF Formula delivers targeted nutritional support for individuals facing oxidative stress and mineral imbalances. With optimal ingredients like magnesium bis-glycinate chelate for enhanced absorption, essential vitamins such as B1 and D3, and glandular concentrates from thymus and parathyroid extracts, SBF Formula aims to restore and maintain metabolic health.

The bottle says take one tablet a day. That is the generic label default, and it is almost never what a hair tissue mineral analysis actually calls for.
A lab report prescribes a schedule written as three numbers — morning, noon and evening:
| On your report | What it means |
|---|---|
| 1 | One tablet, once a day |
| 1-1-0 | One in the morning, one at noon, none in the evening |
| 1-1-1 | One with each of the three meals |
| 2-1-1 | Two in the morning, one at noon, one in the evening |
| 2-2-1 | Two, two, then one |
| 1-1-2 | One, one, then two — weighted to the evening |
| 3-3-3 | Three with each meal, nine a day in total |
Those are examples rather than a complete list — reports use many combinations, and the amounts are set from your own oxidation rate and mineral ratios. A formula the label treats as a once-a-day supplement may well be prescribed several times a day on a chart, or only in the morning, or not at all.
So do not work out how long a bottle will last from the label. Work it out from your schedule. If you are on 3-3-3, a 180-count bottle is twenty days, not six months.
If you have a report and are not certain how to read it, send it over — walking people through their own numbers is exactly what the text support is for.
SBF Formula is one of the three metabolic paks, and the readings Endo-met associates with it are a depressed sodium-to-potassium ratio and a calcium-to-magnesium ratio that has become unbalanced in either direction — below about 3 to 1, or above about 10 to 1.
That combination is associated in the literature with adrenal burnout: not the early, still-fighting phase of stress but the later one, where output has been falling for some time.
Whether it applies to you is read from your own chart rather than from how you feel in a given week. If you have not been tested, that is where the decision starts rather than with a bottle.
There is one pattern where the oxidation rate on the page and the person in front of you disagree, and it is the reason this formula is not simply the fast-oxidation pak.
When all four macro-minerals are below ideal at once — calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium together — the ratios calculate as slow oxidation. But the literature is direct about what that chart represents: these are exhausted fast oxidizers. Someone who ran fast for years under sustained stress until the adrenals could no longer keep up, so sodium and potassium fell away. Normally calcium and magnesium rise to buffer that fall; in the four-lows chart they do not, which is what makes it distinctive.
ARL described it, alongside extreme copper toxicity, as one of the most difficult patterns to build a programme for. The counter-intuitive part is the direction of treatment: rather than pushing a sluggish metabolism faster, the aim is to let the adrenals rest — supplying the calcium, magnesium and zinc spent during years of stress so the body stops drawing on reserves it no longer has.
In our own client programmes this pattern has been consistent: where all four were low, this is the formula that was used, and Megapan — the ordinary slow-oxidizer pak — was not. It is a good illustration of why a chart is read as a whole rather than one ratio at a time.
The short version. A depressed sodium/potassium ratio is what this formula addresses. Most often that appears in a fast oxidizer. It also appears in the four-lows chart, which reads as slow but behaves as burnt-out fast — and that chart is directed here too.
Endo-met’s three metabolic paks are not three versions of the same idea. In the framework developed by Dr. Paul C. Eck — building on Hans Selye’s stress research, and on the work of Dr. George Watson, Dr. Melvin Page and the soil scientist Dr. William Albrecht — choosing the right one is described as the single most important dietary supplement decision, because the formula that suits one oxidation rate is the wrong formula for another.
| What your hair analysis shows | The matched formula |
|---|---|
| Slow oxidation | Megapan |
| Fast oxidation, sodium/potassium ratio not inverted | Stress Pak |
| Fast oxidation with a sodium/potassium inversion | SBF Formula |
| Slow oxidation with a low sodium/potassium ratio and all four macro-minerals low | SBF Formula |
The nutrient strengths in each pak are deliberate rather than arbitrary. They are set so that a tablet can be added for a more extreme oxidation rate, or the dose reduced for a milder one, without having to switch to a different product.
Slow oxidizers are also described as more yin than fast oxidizers, which is part of why the dietary advice attached to each pattern differs so much.
This is the pak for a depressed sodium/potassium ratio. Most often that is a fast oxidizer whose Na/K has inverted — fast oxidation without an inversion points to Stress Pak instead. It is also the pak for the four-lows chart described below, even though those charts read as slow oxidation. An ordinary slow oxidizer points to Megapan.

The metabolic pak is the first thing I look at on a chart, and this is the one I reach for when the sodium/potassium ratio has fallen. Usually that is a fast oxidizer whose Na/K has inverted — but I also give it to slow oxidizers when the ratio is low and all four macro-minerals have dropped below ideal. That four-lows chart reads as slow oxidation, yet the person is really an exhausted fast oxidizer whose adrenals have given out, and Megapan is the wrong answer for them. I mention it because people sometimes buy on the strength of “fast oxidizer” alone and end up on the wrong one of the three.
I came to hair analysis in 2010, under ARNP Julie Walker in Kennewick, Washington, and worked directly with Analytical Research Labs — testing family and friends until I could read a chart properly. I listened to every cassette tape Dr. Paul Eck recorded and read every newsletter that laboratory published. When I found out a degree in Nutritional Balancing existed, I signed up with Dr. Larry Wilson in August 2011, and I have practised independently since the autumn of 2017. The most useful thing I can offer is not a longer product list — it is help reading your own chart and adjusting between tests. Mineral patterns almost always shift on a retest, and watching that happen chart to chart is where the real learning is. I hand-select the formulas and the absorbable forms that consistently help people feel and function better.
How I am available to you. If you order a hair analysis, you get text support from me while you are on the program — retracing and detox questions are best answered as they happen, not weeks later. It takes about three months to train someone to understand what is going on and adjust their own program between tests, and that is the goal. Our Facebook group is free to join whether or not you have bought anything: ask questions there and read through the tips already shared.
I also work in order of priorities, to fit your budget. Some people go all out for longevity; others take only what their hair analysis calls for, once a day. Both are worth doing. Tell me where you are and we will start there.
Matched to your chart. Endo-met formulas are designed to be selected from Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis results rather than chosen from symptoms, because the same product can suit one oxidation pattern well and another poorly. If you are unsure whether this one fits you, a hair analysis answers that from your own numbers.
The primary purpose of SBF Formula is to provide targeted nutritional support for charts showing a depressed sodium/potassium ratio, whether from fast oxidation with an inversion or the four-lows pattern. It aims to restore cellular balance, support energy production, adrenal health, and overall metabolic function through a blend of essential minerals, vitamins, and glandular extracts.
It provides nutrients such as magnesium, glandular extracts, and vitamins that help boost metabolic activity, enhance energy production, and support adrenal function, supporting the adrenal rest that a four-lows chart calls for rather than pushing the metabolic rate higher.
Minerals such as magnesium support muscle and nerve function, bone health, and energy metabolism; potassium helps regulate fluid balance and nerve signaling; copper and selenium support antioxidant defenses and enzyme functions.
Glandular extracts like thymus and parathyroid support immune function and calcium regulation, respectively. These help optimize glandular activity, vitality, and metabolic balance.
By supplying essential minerals like magnesium, potassium, calcium, and supporting glands involved in mineral regulation, the formula helps rebalance these ratios, improving cellular function and energy production.
The main ingredients in SBF Formula include:

Guidelines for Use
SBF Formula should be used based on individual mineral and metabolic assessments, such as Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA). Although generally safe and beneficial, especially during metabolic support stages, it’s advisable to consult a healthcare professional before starting, particularly during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Retesting via HTMA can help tailor the dosage for optimal results.
Supplementation Recommendations
The recommended dosage is typically customized according to HTMA results, often ranging from 1 to 3 capsules, taken 2-3 times daily with meals. For best safety and efficacy, follow the guidance of a qualified health practitioner familiar with mineral balancing and metabolic health. If HTMA testing isn’t available, adhere to the dosing instructions on the product label.
